Kate Middleton and Prince William’s new home branded ‘less private’ as soon-to-be neighbour expresses concern

A soon-to-be neighbour of Princess Kate and Prince William has shared her

worry that the Walses’ new home will be “less private” than Adelaide Cottage.

The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte

and Prince Louis, are set to move to Forest Lodge later this year.

“I welcome them. But I hope the public allows them to live there quietly as a family,” Jean Reeve, 87, said.

“It’s a less private spot than their previous home, from what I know about the location.

The local continued: “I’d hate for people to always be going past and saying: ‘Oh, that’s where they live’.

“They have young children after all. They deserve privacy,” Mrs Reeve added.

The Prince and Princess will move to the Georgian manor in Windsor Great Park later this year

The Prince and Princess of Wales have been said to be “very strict about their boundaries” with a keen focus on “their mental health and family life”.

Mrs Reeve supported the Waleses’ approach, celebrating that: “William and Kate are lovely. They’re young. They’re family-oriented. They’re always with their children.”

“It’s a new style of monarchy. They’d like to be treated as normal people,” she told the Daily Mail.

Another Windsor resident, 50-year-old Nicola Berry, shared her surprise at how close Forest Lodge was to Cranbourne Residential Park.
